The New Orleans Hornets helped make a child's dream come true by hosting
young Brandon and his family at a sold-out home game. Brandon is battling
Lukemia but was able to enjoy court side seats, particpate in a shoot-around,
and meet many of the Hornets players
Chris Paul honors a young fan who died before getting his wish

New Orleans Hornets superstar point guard Chris Paul played Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs with the name Brian on his shoes as a tribute to a young fan who died of cancer. The boy was supposed to attend Game 2 but developed complications from cancer and died before he could meet Paul.

Two of America's biggest star athletes came together to help rebuild the city by raising money and awareness for a variety of local Louisiana charities. Their guests included many NBA stars in town for the 2008 All Star Game as well as many other professional athletes and well-known celebrities.
