A Wish Granted for Demarcus:  A New Laptop and Music!

Demarcus Green is a bright eyed 9 year old boy from Ferriday, Louisiana.  Demarcus really loves his music and has lots of time to enjoy it especially when he is resting in between treatments for leukemia.

So when A Child’s Wish volunteers Lenny and Clark Alsfeld met Demarcus, it didn’t take long to find out exactly what he wanted!

A Child’s Wish provided Demarcus with a brand new laptop so he could play games and download music whenever he wanted.  He also received $60 worth of music downloads and wasted no time purchasing songs from his favorite artists Lil Wayne and Ludacris.

The Alsfeld team also helped Demarcus setup an email address with his nickname in it “Poppa” so he could stay in touch with his friends and family.

Please keep Demarcus in your thoughts and prayers as he is expecting to have a bone marrow transplant this month which his mother Diane and the doctors hope will help.
